2026.09.16Change to the Maximum Number of MIG Instances per Job in the Supercomputer eg Queue
The maximum number of MIG instances that can be requested per job in the GPU node’s eg queue has been increased.
Changes
Target queue : eg
Previous limit : Up to 1 MIG per job
New limit : Up to 4 MIG instances per job
Specify the number of MIG instances to be used through the ngpus parameter in your job script.
Example: Using 4 MIG instances in the eg queue
#PBS -q eg
#PBS -l select=1:ngpus=4
With this change, jobs can now utilize up to 4 MIG instances in the eg queue.
Note: In the eg queue, token consumption is calculated as (number of MIG instances used × elapsed time ÷ 7).
