2025.08.12[Finished] Temporary suspension of service due to the planned power outage
Due to the planned power outage in Hokkaido University and related maintenance, our service will stop as follows. Thank you for your understanding.
Supercomputer and Application server
Service stop: Sep. 12th (Fri), 17:00 – Sep. 17th (Wed), 13:00
- During the above period, connection to Supercomputer and Application server will be unavailable (including Supercomputer File System).
- If it is predicted that a submitted job will not be completed by the service stop, the job will be queued (not start) and start after the service restarting.
- Application software that needs license activation will be unavailable during the above service stop period.
Research cloud
Service stop: Sep. 12th (Fri), 17:00 – Sep. 17th (Wed), 13:00
- Pods will be deleted when the Research Cloud system is shut down.
- Data within Pods will also be lost upon deletion. Therefore, please ensure that necessary data is stored in Persistent Volumes.
- After the service is restored, Pods using Deployments/StatefulSets will automatically restart. However, Pods not utilizing these will require recreation.
Nextcloud
Service stop: Sep. 11th (Thu), 17:00 – Sep. 16th (Tue), 9:00
User portal
Service stop: Sep. 11th (Thu), 17:00 – Sep. 17th (Wed), 13:00
- Since you will not be able to log in to the portal during this time, please complete any necessary operations, such as registering an SSH public key or downloading applications, before the service is stopped.
