2026.02.17[Completed] Notice of Service Suspension Due to End-of-Year Maintenance in Fiscal Year 2025

Due to year-end processing and maintenance, our service will stop as follows.

Supercomputer and Application server

Service stop: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 3:00 PM – Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 1:00 PM (resumed)

  • During the above period, connection to Supercomputer and Application server will be unavailable (including Supercomputer File System).
  • The download version of Mathematica cannot be used.
  • If it is predicted that a submitted or queued job will not be completed by 3/26 3PM, the job will be cancelled.
  • And the remaining tokens will not be carried-over next fiscal year.
  • If you wish to continue using your current user number (supercomputer login account) next year, you are required to submit a renewal application. Data for accounts without a renewal application will be inaccessible after March 30, 2026. We strongly recommend backing up any necessary data before the service interruption time.

Research cloud

Service stop: Thursday, March 26, 2026, 3:00 PM – Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 1:00 PM (resumed)

  • Please be aware that Research Cloud is provided on an annual basis and data transfer to the following year is not supported. We kindly request all users to back up any necessary data before the service interruption time.

Cloud storage (Nextcloud)

Service stop: Monday, March 30, 2026, 5:00 PM – Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 9:00 AM (resumed)

  • If you wish to continue using your current user number (Nextcloud account) next year, you are required to submit a renewal application. Data for accounts without a renewal application will be inaccessible after March 30, 2026. We strongly recommend backing up any necessary data before the service interruption time.
